Pre-trib Rapture? Really? Or No Way???

Sorry I am not posting frequently. I've found time elusive to me lately.

Some quick thoughts about the rapture…

I know in my previous blog my hypothesis was that people who got the COVID vaccine would not be raptured but left behind. Well… I think that’s probably wrong. I am pretty sure I don’t think there is a pre-trib rapture at all. There is no need to fear being left behind, there is every reason to make your faith secure no matter what happens in this world. (And I think things are going to get crazy and then crazier.)

I grew up being taught a pre-trib rapture, and reading the Left Behind books. They are very entertaining, by the way. But I don’t know… when I read scripture myself, when I would read Revelation, I just, I didn’t see it. So, by my early 30s, I believed in an amillennial view of scripture and end times. I didn’t see where God suddenly removed the church from being persecuted. And it didn’t make sense why people in China were going through intense persecution, but we thought we would never have to go through it.

I started listening to Jonathan Kleck, and he is very strange, but, he said yes there is a rapture, pray you escape what’s to come. I also heard a prophetic dream explained, and in the dream there was a rapture.

Some people have had rapture dreams. Others have had dreams where they are led to the guillotine. Which is it?

I had a rapture dream myself!

So… I don’t really know. I don’t know. I don’t like this mentality of  “I’m going to get out of this crazy world so I don’t care what’s happening right now” attitude.  My aunt is very much a believer in a pre-trib rapture. But my cousin, her daughter, is very much a we’re going to be here for it all person. One of them is prepared for things to go south, the other is not.

If I just look at things biblically, I don’t see a pre-trib rapture.

I don’t know what to do with people’s dreams.

Dr. Stella doesn’t believe in a pre-trib rapture, and she’s a prophetess I respect.

There’s this other prophetess I found on YouTube somehow. Sister Kerriann. She says there won’t be a rapture but a few people will be swept into the wilderness. I’d never heard that before. But, it sounds cool.

I heard Dr. Michael Brown be interviewed – he is  a Hebrew scholar, Biblical scholar, very sharp, and he persuaded me that there is no pre-trib rapture as well. I am intrigued by the wilderness thought. I just, it is impossible to follow everything out there I’d like to follow. That gets me into trouble, when I stop sleeping to watch everything… which, some people think we will sleep in heaven, but when I was manic in 2021 and in the hospital and not sleeping, well, I was like, maybe we won’t need sleep. I mean, we’ll need rest but maybe not sleep.  I don’t know I was apparently burning up my brain which can’t be good. And I didn’t have much energy or strength, I’d try to read or write and just putter out real fast.

Anyhow, I wanted to say I’m sorry if I scared people about being left behind for getting the covid vaccine. I don’t know about that at all. I am concerned about a zombie apocalypse coming for those who got it, but, we’ll see. This world is crazy crazy crazy is all I do know, and it’s only getting crazier from here on out.

Which is why we need to find our peace in Christ, so that whatever is going on around us, our foundation with Him is not shaken. I have too many spirits of fear, personally. It’s not good, God doesn’t want us to be scared of the future. Revelation is a book of joy.

This wasn’t a super indepth post, I know. I feel I need to study my Bible way more to post a lot more. But, I’ve just been thinking about this, and wanted to address it.
